The biggest part of the Earth’s surface is called the hydrosphere. Hydroshpere “is the total water that surrounds the Earth”.-The New International Webster’s Comprehensive Dictionary of the English Language. Hydrosphere is also called “the water sphere”. This includes all the water in Earth like oceans, streams, lakes, the water in soil, the groundwater, and the water in air called “the water vapor”. The hydrosphere covers 75% of the Earth’s surface. The largest and the biggest oceance is the Pacific Ocean,and the dippest point is the Mariana’s Trench. Hydrosphere is the home of the living things in Earth.It is the source of life of all for them;without this, all the living things in Earth will be gone.
There are many importance of the hydrosphere. One of this is, it is the source of life. For example; the plants, water is one of the source or their life. They use water, radiation of the sun and the carbon dioxide that is produce by the human. This the component to produce oxygen. Oxygen is use by the human to live.
Another example of this is for animals, it is also the source of their life. They drink water to sustain their needs. Some animals are living in the water like fishes, they need water to live and to breathe.
In human, they use it in many ways. Drinking water is obviously very important but water is also use for domestic uses like washing and in cleaning. Water is also one of the source of income. We can see that water is the biggest part on Earth’s surface, so they use it in making money. For example,the fishes in the cages,they sell it to have money.
Water is also one of the source of electricity. The current that is produce by water is converted to electricty. This is called hydro-electric power. It is also very important and it is use especially to the people who cannot afford to buy the electricity.
The hydrosphere give us ability to travel anywhere. Some people the boat to trvel in water and go to the other places.without this travel, the exploration will be limited.
We should use our water properly because all the living things on earth needs water. If we continue to pollute our water,someday there will be no clean water to drink and when this time comes all the living things will die.
